When the man does nothing, the cop kicks him hard in the chest and he falls to the ground and does not move.

At the end of the footage, more officers are seen arriving to the spot and reports said that the suspect was taken to hospital where he died shortly afterwards.

According to local media, the situation started when a bus driver called the police about the presence of a knifeman in the area who was threatening road users.

One of the arresting officers, identified as Ramirez, kicked the suspect in the chest and the unnamed man died shortly after arriving at hospital.

Reports said that Ramirez has since been arrested and could face charges of homicide. The authorities are waiting for the victim’s autopsy results as the internal investigation continues.
