Controversial Rammstein singer Till Lindemann has been snapped fishing at a Finnish lake while stark naked in his latest eyebrow-raising stunt.

The German rock band front man, 56, surprised fans because in 2004 he told them he had no interest in seeing himself naked but he has now posted the video of himself naked fishing on his own social media account.

The video was apparently shot in Tampere, a city in southern Finland which is between Nasijarvi Lake and Pyhajarvi Lake, with the Tammerkoski rapids in between.

He is seen sitting on a wooden jetty in front of a picture postcard view as he flicks his rod backwards and forwards. At the same time his feet dangling in the water.

In the commentary alongside the singer, who has published two books of poetry, wrote: “You are so beautiful, so wonderfully beautiful, I only want you, I only want to see you, the world can pass me by but I cannot take my eyes off you.”

The footage raised a lot of laughs with fans, with one noting: “Hopefully the fish will bite the right worm.”

The video also inspired fans to create their own parodies with one replacing the famous DreamWorks boy fishing from the moon with the German rocker painted blue and fishing from the moon instead.

His band have sold over 45 million records worldwide and he is listed as one of the 50 greatest metal front man of all time by Roadrunner records which is surprising given he confesses to not liking noise, and preferring the peace and quiet of the type shown in the video where he is fishing in the lake.
