This is the moment a Porsche leaves a car park and immediately crashes through a brick wall – and back into the car park.
The incident took place in the city of Foshan, in the southern Chinese province of Guangdong, on 24th April.
The footage shows the Porsche exiting the car park via a ramp onto the road, where it makes a bizarre sharp turn and ploughs straight through the car park’s brick wall.
The car and a large chunk of the brick wall are then seen falling onto the car park’s ramp, with the Porsche coming to rest in a near-vertical position.
It was reported that the crash happened because the hapless driver – name and age not given – stepped on the accelerator pedal instead of the brake pedal by mistake.
The motorist was not seriously injured – only sustaining minor cuts and scrapes in the accident – but he was sent to hospital for a precautionary checkup nonetheless.
His car, however, was left worse for wear – as seen in these images – with the insurance company subsequently confirming it as a total write-off.
