A Texas Trooper discovered three illegal immigrants from Mexico hidden underneath bales of hay during a routine traffic stop, as these images show.

Body-worn footage captured the officers’ surprise find as they searched an apparently suspicious pick-up truck in Val Verde County on US-277 on 15th March.

The truck’s driver, a Florida resident, was reportedly smuggling the immigrants to Houston.

The driver now faces charges of smuggling of persons.

The cleverly concealed compartment was only revealed after a thorough investigation during the stop, highlighting the ongoing challenges faced by law enforcement in combating human smuggling.
