This is the moment a Chinese worker is lifted off the ground by his snagged jacket when the boss opens the workshop entrance with his phone.

The video was filmed at a car wash in the city of Changchun in the north-eastern Chinese province of Jilin, bordering with North Korea, at around 11.30am on 13th December.

According to the news site Toutiao, Mr Xia, the owner of the car wash company, arrived at the premises while a worker was cleaning a car on the other side of the entrance.

The boss parked his car in the street and used his phone to open the garage door before planning to drive in.

However, the door snagged the worker’s jacket and he was lifted off the ground and left dangling in the air in front of his laughing boss.

The owner managed to grab the man’s dangling legs to try to unlatch him, and then closed the door to free his snagged jacket.

In the video, the car wash owner is seen using his phone outside the building while his white car is parked in the street.

The entrance raises and the worker is seen being lifted off his feet before the boss grabs hold of his legs with a smile on his face.

The door then starts to lower and the owner helps the worker to the ground as the video ends.
