This is the moment a Chinese student finds a bird’s nest in his roommate’s undies after they were hung out to dry the day before.

The incident was filmed in the city of Linyi in the Chinese province of Shandong, and the footage was widely circulated on the social network Douyin, also known as TikTok, by the underwear owner’s roommate.

According to Mr Wang, a student at Linyi University, his roommate hung his undies outside to dry and returned to collect them the following day.

However, in the meantime, a bird had constructed a nest in his briefs.

Mr Wang said that his roommate, name not disclosed, hung his undies on the line on 23rd October and discovered the bird’s nest on the 24th.

The university student also claimed that his roommate removed all the twigs and debris from his briefs before putting them on to wear.

Earlier this year, another Chinese student found a bird’s nest in his clothes after hanging them to dry for over two weeks.

The student, name not disclosed, from the city of Hengyang in the south-eastern Chinese province of Hunan, washed his shorts and left them to dry on the balcony on 1st May.

However, he did not bring the pair of shorts back inside due to a period of rain and ended up forgetting about them, leaving them hanging on the balcony.

When he returned to his dorm on 17th May, his roommate uttered the bizarre sentence: “You have a bird’s nest in your shorts!”

The student admitted he was confused at first and went out to the balcony to see what his roommate was on about.

He said he was stunned when he saw that a bird’s nest had been built on top of his shorts.

The student decided to give up his shorts and leave them for the birds due to the hard work they put in building it, admitting that he wanted to see if they would come back to lay eggs.
