Chinese Boss Punishes Workers With Marriage After They Share Sneaky Cuddle

This is the moment two restaurant workers share a sneaky embrace at the end of their shift, leading to their boss calling them into his office for a joke ‘punishment’ when he ordered them to get married.

The video was filmed at the restaurant Daddy Noodles in the city of Chengdu in the Chinese province of Sichuan while the male chef and female cashier were finishing their shift.

In the video, the chef is seen clearing a table as his excited girlfriend skips over and cuddles him from behind. They then lower their face masks and kiss each other before returning to their work.

When the restaurant owner checked the CCTV footage the following day, he saw the romantic gesture and summoned the couple into his office for a chat.

He reportedly informed them that they cannot hug during work hours and joked that they must be punished with marriage. The couple thanked their boss for the ‘punishment’ and promised to get married as soon as possible.

Restaurant manager Mr Wang told AsiaWire: “The couple in the video are our employees and they are also young lovers!

“The guy is our chef and the woman is our cashier on the front desk.

“When we met with the owner to check the CCTV footage the next day, we saw them showing their affection for each other.

“Originally, there was a rule about not hugging during work hours, but there are also human emotions outside of the regulations.

“So the boss joked that they must accept the punishment of getting married!”

Mr Wang told AsiaWire: “They thanked the boss for the ‘punishment’ and said they would get married as soon as possible.”

They added that they enjoy working at the establishment and promised to work even harder to help the company develop and secure their future happiness.
