One of the Bulgaria’s top pop stars has been slammed after posting a video of her 11-year-old daughter at a beautician’s.
Maria Panayotova Kirova, the 37-year-old pop star best known as simply Maria, took her 11-year old daughter Maraya to a fashion show in Bulgaria, but took the youngster to a makeup studio beforehand.
She posted the video of her daughter on her Instagram profile where she has 196,000 followers.
Some netizens who are following the singer, claimed that she made a mistake by taking her daughter to a beauticians at such a young age.
Online commentator Yorkiefriend wrote: “Beautiful young girl, just don’t let her surgically enhance her lips like yours”.
Another online commentator Nikol.nikolova367 said: “Isn’t she too young for makeup”?
Another Maria Instagram follower, Elisa.Angelova wrote: “The girl is beautiful I just don’t agree with putting makeup on her”.
However, others were less critical of the star’s decision
“radeto_10” wrote: “Princess just like her mum”.
However, the negative comments apparently didn’t change Maria’s mind about taking her child to a makeup artist and she didn’t remove the video.
The singer released the first album in 2000.
In 2006 she married Dimitar Andonov and they got the daughter Maraya. The couple divorced in 2008.
Then she married Kristian Gushterov her second husband in 2015, but they divorced after 2 years of marriage.
