This harmless looking footage shows a 14-year-old mum with another woman who is carrying the teens baby who shockingly then steals the infant when the teen mum buys a drink.

The baby, named Iker Ernesto Martinez Amaro, was just two months old and was reportedly abducted in Iztapalapa, in the Mexican capital, Mexico City, after the woman tricked his 14-year-old mother Melani Amaro.

Mexican authorities report that a the suspect, identified in reports as Addryana Rmz Gomez, approached Melani at the taco stall where she and her boyfriend Ernesto Martinez work and offered to give her a pram if she walked to her house with her to collect it.

Local media report the pair were walking for around an hour when Melani began to get tired and the suspect offered to hold the baby for her. Melani reportedly agreed and handed the baby over before later taking a seat and the suspect then gave Melani some money to buy herself a juice.

Investigators state that when Melani turned to walk towards the shop to buy the juice the other person disappeared with her baby and the mother did not realise until she returned.

In the video, the suspect can be seen holding the baby as she walks through the streets with the teen mother. The pair stroll side-by-side with the kidnapper holding the tot.

Authorities are searching for both the baby and the suspect as the investigation is ongoing.
