Police in Brazil have arrested this busty influencer on suspicion of being an accomplice to a murder.
Yeda Freitas, who boasts 34,800 followers on Instagram, was reportedly arrested by officers from the State Homicide Investigations Department on 18th May.
This video shows the moment when the officers burst into her apartment.
The heavily-inked 30-year-old is accused of being an accomplice to a cold-blooded murder that took place in Goiania, Goias State, in March last year.
According to Freitas’s Instagram profile, she lives in Goiania and is the mother of twin boys.
Her boyfriend at the time of the murder, Antonio Luiz “Toinzinho” de Souza Filho, was also arrested as the prime suspect.
He was found in possession of false documents when he was seized in Teresina, Piaui State.
According to detective Carlos Alfama, the influencer and her then-boyfriend lived a life of luxury, showing off their lavish trips and expensive cars on social media.
According to the Civil Police, victim Douglas Henrique Silva was shot dead in Goiania on 14th March last year.
Freitas, the police say, benefitted financially from a drug-trafficking scheme in which her ex-boyfriend was involved.
According to the police, in order to avoid paying a cocaine debt, Filho set up an ambush for the victim, allegedly with his then-girlfriend’s participation.
The police say that Freitas was with her then-boyfriend when he went to pick up a car before executing the victim.
According to the police, Filho arranged to meet Douglas ostensibly to settle his debt with him.
However, instead of paying him, he took him to a dimly lit street, shot him dead in the car, and then dumped his body on a road.
The police also arrested four other suspects in Jussara, also in Goias State, and Goiania.
They are identified as Mateus Barbosa da Silva, Jose Camilo Pereira Bento, Getulio Junior Alves dos Santos, and Leandro Silva Rodrigues.
The police believe the men took part in the ambush and helped Filho escape.
The Civil Police are still seeking witnesses to help them clarify the crime.
