This is the moment a Turkish man stabs a building caretaker to death because he failed to stop someone scratching his car.

The suspect, named as Ahmet Unveren, 32, was reportedly infuriated about the scratch he noticed on his car after parking on the complex’s grounds, and went to confront the caretaker of the apartment building on Sebil Street in the city of Konya in the Turkish province of the same name at around 9.40pm on 26th October.

Unveren and the caretaker, named as father-of-two Adem Topbas, 24, became embroiled in a fight during which the suspect allegedly stabbed the victim for failing to prevent the act of vandalism on his car.

According to the news site DHA, Topbas had the knife with him, which the suspect seized during the fight and used to stab him.

The victim ran into a minimarket for safety where he collapsed on the floor.

Topbas was taken to hospital by ambulance with multiple stab wounds, but later succumbed to his injuries. He left behind a four-year-old daughter and a 30-day-old baby son.

Meanwhile, the police arrested the suspect after he fled from the minimarket and is currently being held in custody as the investigation continues.

In the CCTV footage of the incident, the suspect is seen trying to find the caretaker before encountering him on the stairs.

The pair exchanges words and then quickly blows, and at various points, the suspect is seen reaching into his pocket while Topbas apparently has something in his right hand.

The brawl ends with the victim running away and entering a shop with a stab wound to his side.

The victim then stumbles and falls on the floor and Unveren crouches over him with a knife in his hand.

A man then pulls Unveren off the victim, who remains on the floor in a pool of blood.
