This is the moment a brick house disintegrates in seconds when an out-of-control SUV careers into it at high speed.

The dramatic accident was captured by a traffic camera in the village of Libaiyang, which is in Laiwu City in East China’s Shandong Province.

The footage dated 24th November shows the Chinese-made Haval SUV speeding into view and veering off-road.

It crashes into a road sign before slamming headlong into the side of the brick house, which disintegrates in seconds and turns into a pile of smoke and rubble as the vehicle stops in the middle of the structure.

An image shows the building – made from brick, concrete and bamboo – having been reduced to rubble, with residents walking over it while inspecting the damage.

Incredibly, local reports say no one was injured during the crash, and the home is not believed to have been occupied at the time of the incident.

Local police are still investigating the case and did not reveal why or why the driver, whose name, age and gender have yet to be disclosed, lost control of the vehicle.

The vehicle is believed to have been insured, but any payout will be dependent on the results of the investigation, which will reveal the reasons behind the crash.
