This is the moment a boy is tossed under an SUV by an angry cow after it flipped him in the air like a rag doll and he escaped with only minor injuries.

The incident was filmed in the county of Wuping in the south-eastern Chinese province of Fujian, and the footage has been widely shared on the social network Douyin, also known as TikTok.

In the footage, the boy is seen running out of shot before suddenly reappearing with a cow giving chase after he seemingly upset it.

The stocky animal bundles the boy along the ground before flipping him in the air.

Luckily for the boy, he lands under the bonnet of a parked car and the cow rams the boot while trying to get to him.

The boy says “I’m sorry” and “don’t hit me okay?” in Chinese and the cow gives up and runs away.

The young lad then goes to fetch his shoe before limping back home.

According to the news site Baidu, the boy was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.

Meanwhile, the cow still remains on the loose and residents have been told to take extra care when going out.
