A bored-at-home Japanese actress has been sharing fetching images of dismantled fruit segments during her COVID-19 lockdown.
Actress and pop star You Kikkawa, 27, from the central Japanese prefecture of Ibaraki, has been sharing the images for her online followers to show how she is keeping active during lockdown.
In the photos, which include a cut up strawberry and stripped-off corn kernels, Kikkawa shows followers that she is maintaining a healthy diet alongside a quirky pastime.
While self-isolating at home, the actress has been plucking out seeds and peeling oranges to take photos and post them on social media before presumably tucking into them.

Netizens were mostly impressed with the celebrity’s creative pastime and comments included “she clearly likes to be exact”, “I thought corn was supposed to have an even number of kernels due to cell division”, “I hope she does cod roe next”, “you shouldn’t play with your food” and “is she okay?”.
Kikkawa is a Japanese singer and actress who first found fame portraying Kobeni Hanasaki from the manga series ‘Kirarin Revolution Stage 3’.
She later debuted as a solo singer with the song ‘Kikkake wa You!’.
According to the latest figures from the Johns Hopkins University, Japan has registered 5,530 cases of COVID-19, 99 related deaths and 685 recoveries.
