This is the moment a bloodied young Russian couple brawl in a lift before returning with a bucket and sponge to clean it up.

The violent row took place in a lift in a residential block on Latviyskaya Street in the Russian city of Yekaterinburg.

The lift’s CCTV camera shows the young man following the woman into the lift with blood running down his face.

He then punches his lover in the face and grabs her hair as her belongings are sent flying across the floor.

In the next scene, the woman is seen talking to her partner as he applies pressure to an apparent head wound.

The couple starts fighting again and the scene cuts to the man making a phone call while his lover points out the CCTV camera to him.

They then start brawling again and the man shoves the woman out of the lift and onto the floor outside.

The scene cuts to them scrubbing the lift with a bucket and sponge after apparently cleaning themselves up and dressing any serious wounds.

In the second video, the woman is seen spray painting the surveillance cameras in the building later that night – hours after already recording everything.

According to the news site E1.RU, neighbours said it was not the first time the young couple had been involved in a violent episode, adding that they lead an ‘antisocial’ lifestyle and complaints are often made to the police about noise coming from their apartment.

They also said that the couple did not report the incident to the police.

It is unclear whether the local authorities are looking into the matter.
