A 24-year-old escort was shot dead by a motorbike gunman in a shocking assassination in front of a hotel.
The victim – Vitoria Dias da Silva – is reported to be a sex worker by newspapers in Parauapebas, Para state, northern Brazil.
Graphic CCTV footage of the slaying shows Vitoria – wearing a blue mini dress – emerging from a car with two other girls in the early hours of 12th June.

Some local media reports say she was on her way to meet a client.
As she walks towards the entrance, a motorcycle parks by the kerb and the rider climbs off and pulls a handgun.
As the terrified escort tries to flee, the gunman shoots her at least four times in the back and the head.

He roars off on his motorbike, leaving his victim face down and dead on the pavement.
Police are also seeking to talk with a second man seen fleeing, possibly the driver of the car Vitoria arrived in.
The cops are also investigating whether her killing was linked to her profession.

Vitoria was buried in Parauapebas later that day.
The investigation continues.
