This is the moment a stocky thug knocks a female dog walker to the ground and reportedly dislocates her shoulder after his unrestrained pooches ran at her dog held on a lead.
The incident was filmed in the municipality of Miguel Hidalgo in the central Mexican capital Mexico City and was shared on Facebook by netizen ‘Anet Baca Teran’ where it has been viewed 792,000 times.
In the footage, the woman is seen walking her dog on the road on its lead.
Suddenly, three dogs without a lead run over and while the woman tries to move her pooch away from the yapping trio, a stocky man runs up behind her.
Without a word of warning, the man shoves her over hard and she crashes to the ground.
He then goes to kick her dog, but stops short and ends up exchanging words with the woman.
According to local media, the woman suffered a dislocated shoulder and a blow to her forehead as well as cuts and scrapes to her hands and arms.
Meanwhile, the victim’s daughter claimed on social media that the man in the footage is called Carlos Antonio Gomez Rebollo and he is known in the area for his aggressive behaviour.
The local authorities are investigating the incident although it is unclear if the suspect has been arrested.
Netizen ‘Luna Vera Cruz’ said: “An abusive man who picked on a woman for just being there.”
‘Mario Espinoza Velasquez’ commented: “This guy deserves a smack in the face because a normal person would never have reacted this way with a lady. If I were there, I would have knocked him out.”
