This is the moment a doppelganger of Brazilian football star Vinicius Junior becomes overcome with emotion after watching his double playing live at the 2022 World Cup.
The fan, whose real name is not revealed, happens to be an exact lookalike of Brazilian football star Vinicius Junior, also known as Vini Jr, and according to this video, he is apparently his biggest admirer as well.
In the footage, obtained by Newsflash from sports journalist Rawad Mezher, 42, the fan can be seen sporting a football dress with Vini Junior’s name and player number on it.
Rawad, who also works as a producer at a sports channel, was sitting close behind the footballer’s ‘stunt double’ at the Brazil vs Serbia match in Qatar on 24th November.
And as the Brazilian national football team walked out onto the pitch, Vini Jr’s lookalike suddenly became overwhelmed with emotion and began crying.
The young fan seemed to have got so excited at watching his hero live that he could not hold back his tears.
His friends patted him on the back as he tried to pull himself together and get back up to watch his countrymen play.
Vinicius Junior, 22, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Real Madrid and the Brazil national team.
He is considered one of the best wingers in the world.
