Biggest-Ever Heist Gangster Killed In Cop Shootout

An Indian mobster allegedly behind Delhi’s biggest-ever heist and who has a 1,000 GBP price tag on his head has been shot dead in a clash with cops.

Pictures shared online claim to show Shiv Shakti Naidu, 39, who was allegedly the boss of one of the most violent gangs in the Indian capital Delhi after he was shot down by Uttar Pradesh police.

He had gone into hiding after being granted parole last year and had apparently gone to Meerut’s Vaishno Dham Colony with other thugs to carry out the murder of a property dealer, but instead was gunned down himself. He died on the way to hospital after identifying himself to cops.

Naidu was said to have organised Delhi’s biggest ever robbery in Lajpat Nagar in 2014 when they stole Rs 7.69 crore (GBP 829,000) from south Delhi-based local businessman Rajesh Kalra.

The shooting in which Naidu was killed happened after cops were called to investigate the theft of an SUV that was reported to be found at a property in Vaishno Dham Colony in Meerut.

Bullets were fired when they arrived and Naidu was injured in the exchange and later died. A police officer was also wounded in the exchange.

Police also claimed to have recovered around Rs 4.69 crore (506,060.25 GBP) after the shooting from the crooks hideout.
