These are the before and after pics of a beautiful woman disfigured in an acid attack allegedly carried out by her fiancee just days before their wedding. 

The incident took place in the central Vietnamese city of Da Nang situated on the coast of the South China Sea, and the local authorities have now concluded their investigation into the case, according to reports.

The suspect has been named as 24-year-old Nguyen Truong Nam Hai, a second lieutenant and officer at the municipal Department of Fire Fighting and Prevention.

However, he has been dismissed from his position since the investigation began while his rank was reportedly stripped.

The shocking attack took place on New Year’s Day 2019, just days before the couple’s wedding.

The victim, identified as 24-year-old L.T.L.V., spoke about the attack on social media five months after it allegedly took place.

She said that days after they registered for their marriage certificate at the end of December, she wanted to end the relationship because Hai would frequently beat her in a jealous rage.

However, the firefighter insisted that both families sit down and discuss the issue.

The two families met on 1st January and when Hair arrived at the victim’s home, he reportedly walked into the kitchen and splashed his fiancee’s face with acid.

She suffered severe burns to her face, arms and legs while her parents also received minor injuries, according to local media.

She has undergone nearly 10 operations in the last five months, according to the victim’s mother.

It is currently unclear when the trial will get underway.
