These snaps show a 21-year-old autistic lad who visits his dad’s grave every week to lie beside his headstone and talk to him as if he were a child lying next to his father in bed.

The incident, which has been widely shared on social media, was posted on Facebook by Malaysian netizen ‘Natipah Abu’, 46, who is reportedly a neighbour of the autistic man, identified as Nazren Firdaus.

According to local media, 21-year-old Nazren, known affectionately as Abang, lost his beloved dad in April last year.

Ever since his father’s passing, Nazren makes sure he visits his grave every Friday without fail.

When he’s there, the Malaysian autistic man holds the headstone as if he is holding his dad’s hand and talks to it as if they are both having an everyday chat when he was still alive. The young lad reportedly used to lie in his dad’s bed and chat to him when his father was alive.

Former neighbour Natipah said that Nazren adored his dad and the family has been very worried about him since his father passed away.

Natipah said the dedicated dad used to bathe him, feed him, play with him and take him everywhere on the back of his motorbike.

A Facebook user commented: “It is so sad seeing these images. I hope his life is as easy as can be and that he is always healthy and happy.”

Another netizen said: “Longing for those who are no longer with us is always very painful.”
