This is the moment a dad trashes a nurses station and punches a doctor in the face after medics are apparently unable to treat his daughter’s fever.
Security footage from Wencheng People’s Hospital in Wenzhou, a city in East China’s Zhejiang Province, shows 42-year-old Zhu, who was identified by his surname, losing his temper in the paediatric ward.
Authorities say Zhu had brought his daughter to the hospital’s outpatient clinic on the morning of 20th May after she ran a fever.

He was told to request an intravenous drip if oral medications did not work, and he returned at roughly 8pm local time when the girl’s condition did not improve.
However, doctors in the paediatric ward informed the dad they were not able to safely administer an IV drip without first performing a skin allergy test – or scratch test – which could not be done until the morning.
When they asked him to try again the next day, Zhu allegedly believed the hospital was not taking his daughter’s case seriously, causing him to lose his temper.
CCTV video shows him breaking a computer monitor and hitting random objects at the paediatric ward nurses station.
He flails his arms and punches the on-call doctor before attempting to throw a chair at his head, the clip shows.
Local police said they detained Zhu and would take a “zero-tolerance” stance towards hospital violence.
No punishment has been announced at this stage, with Zhu’s daughter not understood to be in any serious condition.
