This is the adorable moment a two-year-old boy keeps nodding off while munching on some chicken feet after playing all day without a nap.

The cute scene was filmed in the municipality of Chongqing, which used to be part of south-western China’s Sichuan province until it was spun off in 1997 into its own administration.

Chicken feet are considered something of a delicacy in China, especially in the Sichuan area of the country, which is famed for its food.

The footage was reportedly filmed by a man identified only as Mr Xiao, who shared it online, where it delighted netizens. Mr Xiao said that on that day, his son, who has not been named but who is two years old, had not taken a nap and had played all day.

The footage shows the young boy attempting to eat some chicken feet, but he seems unable to keep his eyes open or his head steady. This, however, does not stop the young boy from holding onto his chicken foot, much to the amusement of his family members.

His eyes can be seen closing on their own and his head can be seen drooping as he slips in and out of consciousness.

Other people at the dinner table can be heard laughing, and shortly before the footage ends, the boy’s head even dips backwards as he seems ready to fall out of his chair. Luckily, an adult can be seen ensuring that he does not fall on the floor.

The family found it funny that the child was able to fall asleep at the dinner table but did not let go of his tasty chicken foot.
