This is the incredible moment police standing beside the road see a cyclist coming alongside them being raced by a flying goose.
The incident was filmed by a cop in the suburb of Pepper Pike in the city of Cleveland in the US state of Ohio, and the local police shared the footage on Facebook on 12th October.
Pepper Pike Police Department said on social media: “Over the weekend, we had the privilege of meeting one of our residents and his friend.”
In the footage, the cyclist, named as Scott Klement, is seen riding towards the filming cop.
A large bird is then also seen, flying low alongside the fast travelling cyclist.
The officer advises “don’t try this at home” as the goose continues to fly directly alongside the cyclist until they both disappear from view.
Klement later commented on the post: “Thanks for sharing. Pepper Pike police are the best, Goostov gives them 5 honks!”
Facebook user ‘Emmy Zatroch Workman’ wrote: “I love the name! Thanks for sharing this.”
‘George Langman’ said: “I love Goostov. Went kayaking with him a couple of weeks ago!”
