A 20-year-old woman has been shot dead with five bullets in a deliberate assassination outside the home where her drug dealer boyfriend was shot dead in July last year.

The murder took place in the city of Rosario in the province of Santa Fe in north-eastern Argentina outside the home where the woman had lived with her drug dealer boyfriend and where he was also killed.

According to local media, pretty blonde Agustina Thomson (CORRECT) was shot dead by attackers that sped past quickly after firing several shots in Maestro Massa street in the Pichinch neighbourhood.

Reports claim that police found the dead body of the woman along with five 9 millimetres shell casing.

They confirmed that Thomson was reportedly the ex-girlfriend of the alleged drug dealer Carlos Senuque who was murdered in the front of the building where the couple lived together in the Brown street on 19th July 2019.

Reports said that Senuque was shot by two hitmen who stopped a car next to the drug dealer’s vehicle when he was parking in front of his building.

An initial investigation has led local authorities to suspect that the murder was a settling of scores in the criminal underworld as the woman also had a connection to the local drugs scene, although they say more detailed note it is still unclear.

The murdered woman had been arrested in March 2019 in Rioja y Moreno during a police operation carried out by the airport security police to stop the smuggling of 13 kilogrammes (28.6 lbs) of cannabis into the country.

The General Attorney’s Office of Rosario reportedly continues the investigation.
