This is the moment Russian bodybuilder ‘Popeye’ takes part in a twerk battle with a near-naked chubby man in a bid to win over a stunning celebrity’s heart.
Kirill Tereshin, 22, dubbed ‘Popeye’ due to his beach ball-like biceps hanging off his otherwise skinny frame, the botched result of injecting his arms with synthol oil, shared the video on Instagram for his 450,000 followers.
Popeye was filmed dancing with the blogger ‘Grisha’ in honour of a beautiful Russian reality star and singer called Olga Buzova, 33.
The pair apparently performed the bizarre twerk dance to win over the stunning reality star’s heart and even danced to one of her songs.
Popeye commented: “The tigers went hunting for Olga Buzova’s heart. The dance battle begins. Let Olga judge who has the best moves, me or the blogger Grisha.”
In the clip, Popeye is seen dancing topless in front of the camera with his underpants on the outside of his jogging bottoms.
As the Russian ‘bodybuilder’ rubs himself all over and performs a ‘wedgie’ on himself, yanking his underpants up high, a chubby naked man appears alongside him.
The odd pair then uses the ancient art of dance to battle it out for Buzova’s heart.
It is unclear whether either of them was successful in winning the reality star over. However, netizens were largely unimpressed.
Instagram user ‘Sasha’ commented: “Everything looks pre-planned and I guess the only purpose of this video is to create hype to make money for medical treatment.”
The netizen was referring to Popeye’s search to find a doctor who could correct his deteriorating arms.
Earlier this year, doctors warned Popeye that he may end up with his arms being amputated.
The synthol injections reportedly caused tissue fibrosis followed by necrosis, seriously affecting his health, and he reportedly collapsed while taking part in a music video shoot for Russian singer Sultan Uragan.
In July, Popeye told Central European News (CEN): “At the moment, my arms are in a bad state and are reddening. I have launched a fundraiser to see a doctor in Europe for treatment.
“I would love to go the UK for it, but the most important thing is that the treatment is successful.”
Popeye also admitted that he has received a lot of media attention after developing his beach-ball biceps and posting unusual video clips on Instagram.
He said: “Online, many people treat me badly. In real life, they want to take photos with me. I am known in many countries and I am sure I have fans in the UK too.”
