This is the moment a motorist is shocked to find a snake slithering all over his wing mirror as he drives along the road.

The unusual incident was filmed in the city of Biograd na Moru in the southern Croatian region of Dalmatia and shared on Facebook where it has been viewed 285,000 times.

The video was accompanied with the caption: “This is what happens when you park under pines…”

The footage shows snake slithering over the wing mirror as the driver drives along the road.

According to local media, the unnamed driver got in his car and was already driving along the road when he first noticed the snake coiled around his mirror.

It is not known what species the snake was or what happened to it when the man stopped driving.

Netizen ‘Davorka Vuksic’ commented: “He should have stopped the car so that the poor reptile could leave.”

‘Nives Basaric’ said: “If you are wondering where your wife is, just look in the wing mirror!”

‘Sandra Barbaric Ex Culina’ wrote: “I would die if I saw a snake like that on my car.”
