This is the moment a flamethrower blasts fire into a singer’s face on stage leaving him with second-degree burns – but the no-nonsense star still finishes the show before going to hospital.
The incident occurred as Mexican signer Francisco Elizalde, 33, known as ‘El Gallo’, was singing in the town of Cuquio in the state of Jalisco in Mexico.
In the video, Elizalde can be seen singing to the audience while standing on the edge of the stage when a flamethrower beneath him suddenly bursts into action.

Local media speculated that his drink may have been alcoholic and that it could have dripped onto the device, causing it to go off.
The flames hit the singer’s face and he briskly walks away. Local media report he continued with the performance but minutes after finishing the show he was transferred to hospital.
He was reportedly diagnosed with second-degree burns to his face and septum.

Local media report the fire was started when some of the alcohol Elizalde was holding dropped onto the flame thrower, igniting it.
A representative of the singer informed the public through social media that the singer is fine and out of danger.
Elizalde, who started his career when he was 15 years old, is the younger brother of the deceased singer Valentin Elizalde known as ‘El Gallo del Oro’ who was assassinated in 2006.
