In the footage, the filming Mercedes driver is seen passing the scooter rider on the busy road before shouting at the man.

Meanwhile, a woman is seen being dragged along the tarmac on her belly while clinging to the back of the bike.

According to local reports, the couple was embroiled in a heated row when the man tried to ride away on his scooter and his partner grabbed the back in an apparent attempt to slow him down.

As a result, the woman was dragged behind the motorcycle as her partner rode along the busy main road.

The filming motorist said he scolded the biker over the incident, but the man simply ignored him and continued riding along the street with his partner being dragged behind.

The local police have confirmed that the couple was involved in a dispute at the time of the incident, and that the investigation is ongoing.
