This is the moment a rider slams into a pedestrian crossing the road and sends him spinning 360 through the air with only one shoe.

The shocking crash was captured on a scooter-mounted video camera, which shows the vehicle speeding through a bend and then weaving between numerous stopped cars.

The video was shot somewhere in Taiwan and shows the what appears to be a scooter passing a stopped van when the male pedestrian suddenly appears in front of the rider.

He is unable to stop in time and slams right into the victim, who lets out a scream while flying through the air.

In the video, the pedestrian spins head over heels, losing one of his shoes in the process as he hits the ground falling against a parked car.

The driver of the parked car, who is still standing by his door, jumps backwards in fright and loses one of his shoes too, the clip shows.

The video ends with the camera tipping onto its side while the parked car owner puts his shoe back on. According to local media, the camera was mounted on a scooter.

It is unclear how badly the pedestrian was injured, with police understood to be investigating the incident.
