A 60-year-old beauty queen set to compete for the international Miss Universe title has given away the secrets of her amazing looks.

Journalist and lawyer Alejandra Rodriguez has just scooped the Miss Universe title for Buenos Aires and now goes on to compete for the national title in May.

And if she wins, she will represent Argentina in the international event in Mexico next Septemeber.

Now Alejandra had told her fans how she preserves the amazing looks that mean she could pass for 40 years younger.

She credits a healthy lifestyle and physical activity as the keys to her youthful appearance.

Alejandra, from La Plata, beat 34 other contestants aged 18 to 73, according to local media reports.

She said: “I believe that the basic thing is to have a healthy life, eat well, do physical activity, and take normal care.

“Nothing too extraordinary, and a little genetics.”

Alejandra added: “What I try to do in general is intermittent fasting, which is spending a period of time without eating food.

“I think that helps a lot. I try to eat organic food, use good creams, this kind of thing.”
