The emergency workers were amazed when they arrived to find neither the 24-year-old woman driver nor her 21-year-old passenger had been injured.

The driver was able to climb out of the car unaided while her passenger had to be released by firefighters using specialist equipment.

A fire service spokesman said: “The passenger can talk about a real miracle. She was stuck in the vehicle. After the rescue, she was conscious and was taken to the hospital for observation. However, the driver of the vehicle left the car under her own steam.”

The firefighters’ report into the accident, between the town of Golina and the village of Kazimierz Biskupi, read: “A young woman, driving a blue Volkswagen Polo, lost control of the vehicle and hit a concrete fence of one of the properties.”

Netizens have commented on the images of the accident scene, with netizen ‘Stan2’ saying: “It looks like a trick from a circus!”

‘Henryk’ said: “Maybe after that she will get a bit wiser…”, and ‘Chirs’ joked: “Congratulations to the mason. Solid fencing!”
