Young Mum-Of-6 Killed By Speeding Suspects Being Chased By Cops

A 26-year-old mother of six children has been knocked off her motorbike and killed by speeding suspects during a car chase with the cops.

Pamela Lorena Bermudez was celebrating the birthday of one of her children in Berazategui in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires when she left on a motorbike with her brother Alexis and her unnamed brother-in-law to buy more drinks.

However, two suspected thieves in a black Volkswagen Fox hit the motorbike and the victim was sent flying, suffering multiple injuries.

The victim’s brother and brother-in-law both suffered minor injuries.

Alexis told the newspaper Todo Noticias that local residents helped his badly-injured sister while the ambulance was on its way.

She was taken to a nearby hospital where doctors diagnosed fractured hips and pelvis. She had also lost a lot of blood and surgeons had to amputate a leg, according to reports.

Despite the doctors’ best efforts, the young mother died two days after the accident.

The two suspects crashed into a tree after allegedly knocking the woman off the bike and were promptly arrested. Officers at the scene also seized a handgun.

The police have identified the alleged thieves as Benigno Jesus David Gordillo and Jaime Jose de la Cruz Martinez, both 36.

According to a preliminary report, the suspects stole the Volkswagen Fox from a man along with his mobile phone. A third vehicle was involved in the accident and the police are still looking for the driver.

The victim leaves behind six young children.
