A woman who decided to dispose of the contents of a box of laundry powder in the toilet because she thought it was too old has flooded her neighbours’ apartments with washing foam.
One of the people whose property was flooded with an invasion of white foam was identified as Ms Wang, who lives in the municipality of Chongqing in Southwest China.
She said that she woke up to go to the bathroom and discovered that the foam came flooding out when she opened the door. When she looked inside, she realised that the entire bathroom was full of white bubbles.
She said it took ages to clean up, as can be seen in this viral video, and the flats both above and below her apparently suffered the same fate.
After cleaning up, as can be seen in the second video, the plumbing continues to have problems caused by the laundry powder, with the water continuing to bubble and flood into the toilet bowl.
Plumbers who turned up said that the system eventually cleaned itself, with the bubble bath washing out into the main sewer system.
It was not revealed what the penalty was, if any, for the woman who caused so much damage to her neighbours’ apartments.
