This party trick in which a man makes his eyes apparently spin around impressed his pals who tried and failed to copy the stunt.

The footage of the bizarre party stunt was taken when a group of friends were sitting in the garden and enjoying a meal at Xishuangbanna, Yunnan Province, southern China.

The camera pans to the man who speaks briefly before demonstrating his amazing ability to send his eyes spinning around in his head.

After much amusement at the bizarre stunt, his pals then tried, and failed miserably, to repeat the trick, causing further merriment.

Online commentators were equally impressed, with some pointing out that it must have been some of the ingredients in the huge bowl of curry that appears to be on the table in front of them.

Someone else joked: “If he carries on like that, his eyes are going to fall out and land in the curry.”

While ‘Yuping’ wrote: “Are these eyes equipped with small motors? Tens of thousands of revolutions per minute.”

And ‘What are you eating today?’ said: “This is the pupil earthquake, right?”
