Viral Moment Young Man Repeatedly Screams In Fear At Receiving COVID Jab

This is the viral moment a nervous man receives a round of applause after bravely staying in his seat for his Covid jab, despite being obviously terrified and screaming in fear.

The incident was filmed at a vaccination centre in the northern Mexican state of Chihuahua, and was shared on TikTok earlier this week where it went viral, amassing over 3 million reactions and 34,000 comments.

The 30-year-old local who popped down to the centre for his COVID-19 jab was filmed screaming wildly as the nurse tried to vaccinate him.

Other residents in the hall took out their phones and started filming the man’s moment of terror.

In the footage, the nervous patient, wearing a grey top and seated behind the man in the foreground, is seen turning his face away from the nurse and screaming before the needle even touches him.

The nurse bends downs to try again, but straightens her back and laughs when the man starts screaming again in anticipation of the jab.

Meanwhile, other patients in the large hall are also heard laughing at the man’s reaction.

On the third attempt, the nurse apparently carries out the vaccination despite the man’s heightened screams.

She laughs again at his reaction as other patients in the hall applaud the man for successfully being inoculated.

According to the news site Excelsior, vaccine uptake is on the rise in Mexico after the Federal Commission for Protection against Sanitary Risks (COFEPRIS) approved the emergency use of four batches of the AstraZeneca vaccine packaged in the Mexican state of Mexico.
