These pictures show the horrific injuries this Venezuelan model allegedly suffered at the hands of her violent ex-boyfriend.

Carla Pacheco, who represented the Venezuelan state of Carabobo at last year’s edition of the ‘Miss Venezuela en Chile’ beauty pageant, took to Instagram to document to her 38,800 followers the physical and psychological abuse she allegedly suffered at her ex-partner’s hands.

Pacheco and the man identified in local reports as Abdon Pirela, ages not reported, hail from Venezuela but reside in Chile.

She claimed the abuse took place during the couple’s three-year-long relationship, writing: “I was badly beaten not once, twice, not three times, there were so many times, I couldn’t count.”

She said the relationship lasted so long, despite her then-boyfriend’s violence, because “I believed in him, I believed that everything could improve, that he could change.”

She also said she “thought many times about reporting him” to the police, “but I was afraid of what might happen to him”.

The model said she chose to reveal all on social media because “I do not want anyone else to go through what I experienced”.

She also urged similarly abused women to make their voices heard, writing: “To you, my followers and to the women who have been trampled on, the only thing left for me to do is extend a hand and ask you not to stay quiet, a timely complaint is better than a bouquet of roses after a beating.”

According to local reports, the model has already reported her ex to the authorities, and the complaint is now in the hands of the Chilean Public Prosecutor’s Office.

The suspect, who is seen in one of these videos throwing his then-girlfriend’s trainers in the toilet, is currently considered a fugitive from justice.
