An elderly US tourist is fighting for his life after falling from a stone wall in a Croatian city used as King’s Landing in the smash hit HBO show ‘Game of Thrones’.

The 79-year old American citizen reportedly fell from a stoned balcony on the Franciscan Church and Monastery in the southern Croatian city of Dubrovnik, surrounded by the famous defensive Walls of Dubrovnik.

Hospital director Doctor Marijo Bekic told reporters that the tourist’s life is still in danger after suffering multiple fractures and organ injuries.

Meanwhile, the local police said that it was miraculous that the American pensioner survived the fall, adding that it appears to have been an accident with no sign of foul play.

The stunning city of Dubrovnik was used as the location for King’s Landing in the hit TV series ‘Game of Thrones’.

The show recently aired its last ever episode which divided viewers, particularly fans of Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen, and saw ‘Bran the Broken’ crowned as king.

Netizen ‘Volbeat’ commented: “He was probably imagining that he was flying on a dragon alongside Jon Snow or his aunt and came a cropper.”

‘Tide’ added: “He was definitely playing the Game of Thrones at the time.”
