Ukrainian Soldiers Training To Shoot With Heavy Machine Guns

These images show Ukrainian soldiers training to shoot with heavy machine guns on training grounds.

The footage begins by showing an instructor talking to a Ukrainian soldier, who can then be seen opening fire with the heavy machine gun.

The images then show other Ukrainian soldiers practising firing with a wide variety of firearms, including assault rifles and heavy machine guns.

They can be seen shooting at mock targets on the firing range.

The images were obtained from the 251st Separate Battalion of the Territorial Defence Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Thursday, 2nd March, along with a statement saying: “Although they say that this war is primarily an artillery war, this does not negate the fact that the personal weapons of the fighters must hit accurately, like Himars.

“That is why the fighters of the 251st Separate Battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine went to the training ground to practice their theoretical knowledge of aiming weapons.”

The images and statement were also relayed by the Office of Strategic Communications (StratCom) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
