Ukrainian Drones Hunt Down Russian Soldiers On Frontlines

The footage shows the Ukrainian drones honing in on their targets and hitting them.

The images were obtained from the 72nd Brigade’s Company of Strike Unmanned Aerial Vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Tuesday, 6th February, along with a statement saying: “The 72nd Brigade keeps the enemy in constant fear.”

Russia invaded Ukraine on 24th February 2022 in what the Kremlin is still calling a “special military operation.” Today marks the 714th day of the full-scale war.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that between 24th February 2022 and 7th February 2024, Russia had lost approximately 391,470 personnel, 6,372 tanks, 11,879 armoured combat vehicles, 9,387 artillery units, 980 multiple launch rocket systems, 665 air defence systems, 332 warplanes, 324 helicopters, 7,177 drones, 1,849 cruise missiles, 24 warships, 1 submarine, 12,486 motor vehicles and fuel tankers, and 1,497 units of special equipment.

Ukrainian Forces Take Out Russian Soldiers On Frontlines

Russia launched a missile attack on Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities this morning, Wednesday, according to Ukraine’s Air Force.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has confirmed the activation of air defence systems, with one victim reported in the Dnipro district and damage to high-voltage lines from rocket fragments.

A missile attack in Mykolaiv has killed one person and damaged over 20 residential buildings, according to Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych.

And Governor Oleh Sinehubov said that Russian missiles had hit non-residential structures in Kharkiv.

Polish and NATO warplanes have been deployed due to Russia’s increased long-range aviation activity, possibly linked to missile strikes on Ukraine, according to Poland’s military.

Ukrainian special forces have destroyed a Black Sea drilling platform that was being used by Russia to extend the range of its drones in an operation called Citadel. This action also resulted in the capture of significant enemy equipment.

In a Russian strike on Zolochiv, in northeastern Ukraine, a two-month-old baby was killed and three people were injured. Thirty buildings, including a hotel, cafes, a market, and pharmacies, were damaged in the attack, raising concerns about civilian safety.

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has established a separate branch of the armed forces focused on drones, emphasising their strategic importance.

He has pledged to produce a million drones domestically and with partners in 2024.

Ukraine’s Commander-in-Chief Valerii Zaluzhnyi highlighted drones as crucial in avoiding costly positional warfare, along with other advanced weapons.

The EU’s top diplomat, Josep Borrell, has visited a training course for Ukrainian law enforcement, which is geared towards restoring order in territories reclaimed from Russian control.

The training, led by law enforcement from a number of EU countries, includes arresting dangerous individuals and addressing war crimes and mass graves.
