The images were obtained from the 23rd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Thursday, 29th February, along with a statement saying: “Avdiivka direction. They come, we hit them. The routine of an external pilot of an attack UAV.”
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that between 24th February 2022 and 29th February 2024. Russia had lost approximately 413,760 personnel, 6,593 tanks, 12,552 armoured combat vehicles, 10,070 artillery units, 1,000 multiple launch rocket systems. 690 air defence systems, 342 warplanes, 325 helicopters, 7,768 drones, 1,912 cruise missiles, 25 warships, 1 submarine, 13,152 motor vehicles and fuel tankers, and 1,601 units of special equipment.
Russia claims its forces have re-entered the village of Robotyne, which Ukraine had retaken in August 2023.
