Furious Phil Sokowicz, 34, found the ultra rare 211mph Ferrari F8 Tributo supercar had been pinched from its underground garage on 18th October.

Ironically, Sokowicz’s German legal tech firm Helpcheck assists punters trying to claim money their insurers refuse to pay them after losses.

Sokowicz, from Essen, who has nine million Instagram followers, said: “I wanted exactly that car, I had to look for a long time because it was no longer being built in 2022.

“Finally I found a dealer in Austria who sold it almost new.”

After snapping it up, Sokowicz says he fitted the car with a EUR 20,000 (GBP 17,461) state-of-the-art surround sound hi-fi.

Mechanics also rigged up a new special sports exhaust system.

Police are also hunting for the black metallic Ferrari with its distictive DX1 numberplate which can do 0-62mph in 2.9 seconds.

Essen Police spokesperson Sylvia Czapiewsk said in a statement obtained by Newsflash: “Between yesterday afternoon, at 12pm, 17th October, and 8am, 18th October, the Ferrari was stolen on Huyssenallee.

“Witnesses who have observed anything unusual in the Huyssenallee area or who can provide other information about the vehicle or the theft are asked to contact the responsible criminal police station.”
