Two Bags Found On Roadside Contain Corpses Of Young Women Pals Who Vanished After Night Out

Two found inside bags on a roadside are believed to belong to these two pretty young women who went missing over 10 days ago after going on a night out.

Cops in the Brazilian state of Sao Paulo are investigating whether the two bodies found alongside a motorway in the city of Itapecerica da Serra belong to Claudia Cristina de Pinto Menezes, 35, and young mum Julia Renata Garcia Rafael, 26.

The two women, who lived in the city of Guarulhos but who hailed from the state of Amazonas, were last seen at a nightclub in the city of Sao Paulo in the early hours of 3rd June.

The bodies were found on the morning of 15th June and cops believe they were dumped there in the early hours of the same day.

The authorities have said that the victims’ relatives identified the bodies as belonging to their missing family members by their tattoos.

According to the police, the corpses were dirty with soil, indicating that they had been buried and dug up.

The police have questioned the owner of the club at which the women, who were friends, were last seen. However, he was unable to tell officers at what time they left.

Investigators know that Claudia sent her friend a message at 4 am on the same day, but her and Julia’s mobile phones were switched off shortly after.

What happened to the women next remains a mystery. However, the police are investigating the case.

It is known that Julia leaves behind a nine-year-old daughter, who is under the care of Julia’s sister in the city of Manaus.
