A Turkish singer faces 27 years in prison after prosecutors accused him of trying to get a lover to sexually abuse his two-year-old stepdaughter, because it was his latest fetish.

He was investigated and now charged when the shocked boyfriend reported him to police.

In the indictment, prepared by the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, it was stated that singer Bulut Duman, 31, had sexual intercourse with a man identified as A.U. in his house in the district of Kadikoy in the Turkish city of Istanbul on 7th November 2020.

According to A.U.’s statement, Duman then encouraged him to sexually abuse his then 15-month-old adopted daughter.

He claimed that Duman told him “I have a new fetish” and “I want to experience this with you”.

In the indictment, which stated that A.U. declined the request, Duman is quoted as saying: “I am a child development specialist. Babies do not understand such things when they are 15 months old.”

In the indictment, which also included a statement from the singer, the accused denied the accusation levelled against him.

According to the news site Onedio, prosecutors are asking for a minimum jail term of 27 years for the Turkish star for the crime of ‘instigating the sexual abuse of a child’.

Duman will reportedly appear before the Anadolu Third High Criminal Court, which accepted the indictment, in the coming days.
