The furious woman filmed by somebody from above – is seen swearing at the toddler and battering her around the head as her other child stands nervously to the side.

The footage was apparently shot in the city of Raduzhny in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug where the woman wanted to go to church.

It appeared that the family were late for the service and the mother’s complaints include the fact that the children slept too lxong and which meant delayed lunch and that the kids had insisted on watching cartoons.

She appears to throttle her daughter in the pram at one stage and also shake her before then also complaining to the other child standing to one side.

The woman was named as Elena Beregovykh, and according to local residents, it was not the first time that she had raised her hand to her own children.

The second video shows the children in the same clothing, holding the doors open for their mother, and being violently slapped as she walked past them.

The angry mother has also apparently insulted locals, including throwing shopping products at one cashier after a row in a supermarket.

When contacted, she complained that she had to raise her children on her own, and claimed that her neighbours were victimising her and spying on her.

After the footage outside the church was widely shared, she claimed it was the first time, but the other videos clearly show that this is not the case.

Local social workers confirmed that they were aware of the videos and that they have reached out to the mother and were counselling the children to find a resolution.
