Cops believe Hector Lopez, 25, whose body was found on the outskirts of the city of Puerto Madryn in the south-eastern Argentina province of Chubut, was executed by a drugs cartel. He had been missing for a week when his body was finally found about 1,000 metres (3,280 feet) from where his vehicle had been abandoned, near El Doradillo beach. Silvana Salazar, the prosecutor in charge of the investigation, said the incident bore all the hallmarks of a drugs-related killing. Mr Salazar, who requested help from federal justice officers in investigating the killing, said the already badly decomposed body was found after a tip off. The death is being linked with those of two associates of Lopez who also died suspiciously in recent weeks. Nicolas Cerrudo, 21, was found hanged just 24 hours before Lopez was reported missing. A note was found with the body asking for his family to be protected. It read: "This is happening for playing with fire." However, investigators are not convinced he took his own life as it appeared he had been tortured in his genital region. The body of the second associate, Federico Lomena, 25, was found buried on a beach at Playa Parana, near Puerto Madryn. He had been missing since 21st November. Police say Lopez, Cerrudo and Lomenia use to travel to Buenos Aires together to buy clothes to sell for a profit back in Chubut. All three victims are also believed to have links with drug trafficking. A fourth man, Gaston Leon, 30, has been missing since May. It is believed he knew Lopez. Police say the four suspects, including the 16-year-old boy, will be charged with murder.

Pic Shows: A public bus out of control on a slippery downhill road, hits a stuck car whose driver runs for his life as he comes out of the car and gets hit by the bus; This is the near-death moment a slipping bus smashes into a car as the motorist jumps out and slides on the ice right in front of it as bystanders scream. The near-miss took place in the city of Kayseri in the central Turkish province of the same name following a period of freezing temperatures and hazardous road conditions. In the video footage, a car is seen sliding to a stop with its back end hanging out into the road. As the motorist slowly gets out of the driver’s seat, the bus is seen approaching the vehicle unable to slow down on the slippery road. A crowd of onlookers can see what is about to happen and start shouting at the driver to get out of the way. With the out-of-control bus just feet from his car, the man scrambles out of the driver’s seat and starts to run just as the bus crashes into the his car, sending it spinning onto the pavement. The man meanwhile continues to run down the slippery road with the huge vehicle centimetres behind him and at one point he slumps on his backside and uses the icy downhill slope to pick up some speed in a bid to get out of the way of the bus. Meanwhile, the bus’ brakes screech as the driver tries to bring the heavy vehicle to a stop. The man arrives at the group of onlookers a split second before the bus, and several men grab him and pull him clear in the nick of time. The bus’s wheels lock as the vehicle skids to a stop several metres further down the road with the passengers staring out of smashed windows in disbelief. The motorist is not believed to have been injured.

The incident took place in the small community of Remolino outside Santa Cruz de Lorica in the northern Colombian department of Cordoba, where the festival is celebrated every year. In the video footage, a group of people are seen trying to erect the tall tree on a bustling public square with scores of festival goers looking on. However, the group loses control of the tree and it falls across the public square, toppling on top of one man who scrambles in vain to get out of the way. At the end of the clip, the man - identified as George Lopez Martinez - is seen lying on the ground motionless. According to local media, the flattened man’s sister took him home to patch him up saying he had in the end only been stunned and had suffered a chin injury. While there, he used the opportunity to spruce up before going outside to rejoin the festivities, according to reports. A similar incident took place on the public square a few years ago when another tree-planting episode was bungled, resulting in a man breaking his leg. While some families light candles in their homes, others go outside to plant a tree on the square which everyone then dances around. The tradition is over 100 years old and is accompanied by lively music and fandango dancing.

Pic shows: The man kicking the cat down This viral video with nearly three million views shows a man kicking a sunbathing cat down an embankment into a river. The incident was captured by CCTV cameras in Shantou’s Chenghai District in South China’s Guangdong Province. The footage viewed just shy of three million times on China’s Twitter-like microblogging platform Sina Weibo shows the unnamed man coming across the animal as it lies sunbathing underneath a stone barrier. The man stares at the cat for a few moments before kicking it with his left foot, causing the feline to roll off the pavement and down the embankment into the water. The culprit then walks away, even appearing to be smirking as he does so. The cat rolled into the river but was fortunately able to free itself thanks to the sloped embankment. The video shows it sprinting back up and running out of camera shot, leaving a trail of water behind it. It is unclear at the time of writing whether the cat had an owner. Social media users have left hundreds of comments criticising the man’s actions, which have been described as "vile". ‘Daimeng Xinxin’ wrote: "I’d love to give him a kick into the river." ‘Daoyuyue’ added: "Real men don’t abuse animals or women."

Gustavito Diaz was watching the parade in the city of Tunja in the central-eastern Colombian department of Bocaya when the nervous horse knocked him over. Eyewitness Flor Maria Martinez told local media: "The horse bolted right where Gustavito was standing. He was hit by the horse and knocked out." The 76-year-old was rushed to the San Rafael Hospital with a head injury, according to reports. In the video footage, a cowboy riding a black horse in the foreground is seen passing rows of spectators while a white horse in the background starts to shake its head and kick up its front legs. The rider fails to control the horse as it leaves the road and barges into the older man wearing a blue cap on the pavement. The elderly man crashes to the ground and appears to hit his head against a building wall. The nervous horse tramples around his fallen body as spectators scream in shock. Tunja official Fabio Martinez said: "We told the public that a large crowd was expected, but we thought that it would be best to not erect barriers as it takes away some of the enjoyment." According to reports, some spectators complained the event did not have appropriate security measures. Meanwhile, the injured man is still being monitored in hospital. Local media said that his medical bills will be covered by the organiser’s insurance.
