In the video, the 17-year-old can be seen standing with a broom handle in his hand as he angrily speaks to his mother, who is sitting on a sofa in front of him. He warns his mother not to speak about him to her friends, saying he will have her beaten if she speaks about him. The boy points the wooden handle at his mother and then forcefully whips her thigh with it. The woman screams in pain and begins crying as her son threatens to hit her again, with him saying: "Have I interfered with your life? Then why are you interfering in mine?" The video was posted to social media and brought to the attention of the local police. The 17-year-old has now been arrested and charged with voluntarily causing hurt and using force against a woman with the intent to insult her modesty. Investigators reportedly told local media that the teenager is an alcoholic who has attacked his mother in the past when she tried to get him to stop drinking alcohol. The charges against the teenager were reportedly dropped after the police forced him to apologise to his mother.
