SWAT TEAM: Local Cop Finds Man’s Corpse In His Home Two Months After He Died After Spotting Swarm Of Flies On Window

A local police officer found a man’s lifeless corpse in his home two months after he died after spotting a swarm of flies on his window.

The gruesome discovery took place in the village of Koedijk, near the city of Alkmaar, in the province of North Holland, in the Netherlands, on Monday, 5th December.

Locals had reportedly alerted the police last week, with the police going to the house but not going in because the situation was not deemed urgent. They said that the man, who has not been named, regularly went abroad for significant periods of time.

But one of the police officers, who has not been named either, said that he “didn’t have a good feeling about it”, deciding to go back to the house on Monday.

He said: “Everything looked exactly as it did before the weekend, and the neighbours hadn’t heard or seen anyone. Then I broke open the gate that gave access to the garden. When I saw the back window, I knew enough.”

As can be seen in this footage, the back window was covered in flies.

The police, who released the footage, emphasised that they had done so to raise awareness and not to shock people.

They said that if people notice similar scenes in their neighbourhoods, they should call the police.

The police told local media that the man had died of natural causes.
