A brute who allegedly made his teenage goddaughter and her mother kneel before shooting them both in the back of the head has escaped from prison in Brazil.

Evil Wilson de Jesus Farias, 35, was arrested in Campo Largo, Parana State, on 7th March accused of involvement in the cold-blooded double murder.

Victims Emilyn Richalski Tracz and Daniele Richalski were mercilessly executed in the living room of the latter’s home in Campo Largo early on 12th January.

Farias was Emilyn’s godfather and had been raping the 17-year-old since she was 11, according to the police.

Police chief Ademair Braga said at the time: “This was all caused by a sexual violence committed by the perpetrator, which occurred when the deceased teenager was still a child.

“The perpetrator was the godfather of the deceased teenager. He was a person who enjoyed the family’s trust, and taking advantage of that, he committed multiple crimes against this teenager.

“When I say multiple crimes, it’s because he sexually violated her on more than one occasion.”

According to investigators, Farias had decided to kill the pair after Emilyn told him in a series of messages that she was going to tell her family about the alleged rapes.

Three days before the crime, she is believed to have travelled from her home in Fazenda Rio Grande to her mother’s house, where she told Daniele, 41, everything.

According to reports, the mother went to confront Farias the next day.

Two days later, according to the police, the godfather and two accomplices went to Daniele’s home, allegedly to look for mobile phones containing evidence of the rapes.

Braga said at the time: “To cover up the rape, he ended up trying to collect the evidence, especially the victims’ mobile phones.

“Witnesses near the scene reported that they arrived there and asked for the mobile phones. When they said they didn’t have them, they were shot multiple times.”

During Farias’s arrest, police seized three firearms from his residence, one of which, said forensic experts, was used to carry out the killings.

According to investigators, the victims were killed with a 9mm pistol and a .357 Magnum revolver.

It was earlier reported that investigators believed that Farias had only helped his accomplices flee and had not broken into the property himself.

However, new reports do not rule out his direct participation in the double killing.

Earlier reports told how Emilyn was stabbed repeatedly and had her arm broken before she and her mum were made to kneel and were shot in the back of the head.

Local media also said at the time that Daniele’s husband had survived the bloodbath by fleeing through a window.

Two young nieces, who were staying over at the time, had also reportedly survived by hiding in a bathroom.

Local media are now reporting that Farias and another inmate escaped from the Medical Penal Complex in Pinhais on 14th May.

The Parana Penitentiary Police Department said: “Two individuals deprived of their liberty, who were serving their sentences at the Medical Penal Complex, escaped.

“The prison officers immediately initiated the search but were not successful.

“They promptly informed the competent authorities, and further internal administrative procedures are underway to investigate the facts.”

According to lawyer Jose Valdeci de Paula, Farias escaped after being taken for medical treatment.

The identity of the other escaped inmate is being withheld.
