This is the moment Diego Maradona shows that class is permanent by scoring directly from a corner during one of his side’s training sessions.

The Argentine footballing icon was having some time out during Dorados de Sinaloa’s training session in their Estadio Banorte stadium when he was filmed taking a corner.

In the video, the former Barcelona man can be seen lining up an inswinging corner with his left foot which he strokes just off the ground.

The ball bounces and bobbles into the net as Maradona turns and celebrates with onlookers applauding.

Netizens loved the video, with ‘Nonny Gutierrez Rdgz’ writing: “What you learn well you never forget.”

And ‘Daniel Acosta’ added: “And even with his legs all crooked… great.”

Dorados de Sinaloa finished in fifth place in the second tier Ascenso MX and take on Cimarrones de Sonora in the first leg of their play-off quarter-final tomorrow.

Maradona’s side are unbeaten in their last nine league games and will be hoping to reach the play-off final as they did last year. The winner of the final earns promotion to the top flight Liga MX.
